ON-grid Solar Cell System
In the on-grid solar cell system, the sun shines on solar panels that generate DC electricity. The DC electricity is supplied in a solar inverter which converts the electricity to 240V 60Hz AC. The 240V AC electricity is used in your home to power appliances. Then, the surplus electricity is fed back to the main grid.
OFF-grid Solar Cell System
Solar panels with charge controller inverter and battery banks are part of an off-grid solar power system. This allows the direct use of the electricity produced during sun hours and stores the excess for night use in a battery bank.
